MY APOLOGIES!!!!! I have a child at home & i'm trying to do too many things at once - these were typo's not wrong info that i had!!!!
Loder Frost Conklin was born Oct. 24th, 1858 in Bedford, Calhoun Co., MI He was married Jan. 5, 1892 also in Calhoun County, MI. He is listed on the 1870 Census in Calhoun Co., MI under his parents James Conklin and Rhoda A. (Rhoda Ann Loder)along with his brother Frederick. Also on the same page of the Census is James Conklin's parents James Conklin and Hersillia Paddock (spelling of Hersillia may be wrong, i've found many different variations) with 2 of there children Herbert and Walter.
Sara Marjororie Conklin died Jan. 1st 1997. I did attend the funeral, I was about 21. She was born in Barry County to Wilfred and Anna Forshey. She graduated from Battle Creek High School in 1919. She lived in Battle Creek until around 1995 when she moved in with me and my Grandma (her daughter) Carol and then around 1996 moved into the Docsa Home in Battle Creek, where she died.
I have double checked all of my dates, there shouldn't be any typo's!! :)
I do plan on going to the Cemetery in Battle Creek with my Grandma this summer to take pictures, most of the Conklins in my Family are burried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Battle Creek and I'm only a couple hrs away.
I'm not sure if anyone knows but the 1870 census for MI is free online :
