I am at a complete standstill. I know where this Thomas is buried (Town of Southold,NY) but cannot find any parentage information. I wrote the town historian and she told me that no vital records exist before 1850. Thomas was b. 1753 and d. 1834. He married Anna Hallock in 1777. (Her lineage is documented.) I also spend much time at the Suffolk County Historical Society and have hit a standstill there as well. I am searching CD's and census records, but nothing concrete, only a few possibilites without any leads. What would you do next? Thanks in advance for your time and input all you Conklin researchers!
