My g-grandfather Charles Conklin was the stationmaster at Croton-on-Hudson when he was murdered in 1911 at the age of 47. His father's name was John and John was 67 in 1911. Our family has always rumored to have a Native American in its history as well. All I know of Charles' family is that he had a sister who married a Coulter and they farmed in Pine Plains, NY, further upstate from Croton (which is in the town of Cortland in Westchester County). Any connection? Sharon
