Seeking info On carpenter conklin b. abt 1763 He Supposedly died 5 March 1846 Sandlake,Rensselear NY ,Married Lucretia Nelson (1768 - 1835)
I also have a Carpenter Conklin ,b. abt 1831 in Ohio married a Mary Miller (? Mullen ) b. in Ohio or ALA. THEY HAD A SON TUNIS B. ABT 1858
som guess of Carpenter Conklin 's father being Thomas Conklin .
The 1880 Census of Clinton County, Ohio under Liberty Twp. Carpenter Conklin 49 y/o Head of House b. in ohio parents Father b. in NY, mother b. in ohio. There is a Thomas B. in the 1880 cenus Head of house witha wife Elizabeth A. in the same township . Also a Tunnis conklin 75 y/o living as a border with James Stephens . This Thomas b. in NY & both p[arents from NY. wodering if connected
