Hello Donna: This Henry Conklin would have been around 10 or 15 in 1875. His fathers name was Frank and his mother ran off and left him and a little sister when he was 3 or 4. He had an older sister that was married to a man named ? Love with whom he stayed for two days. His father gave his little sister to a family because she was so small and He left with a peddler when Henry was 10 and never came back. He stayed at the farm for two weeks waiting on him until his uncle came and got him after finding out from some people that he was there alone. This Henry was my Grandfather. He died in 1969 and did not remember his mothers name or his sisters name because he was 10 when he ran away from his uncle after he beat him and raised his self.
