His second wife, SUSANNA COSSART named their child, JACOB CONINE, but his children by VAN VECHTEN all had the last name of Conyn. DIRCK PHILLIPSE CONYN'S father was, PHILLIP lEENDEERTSE CONYN, then, LEENDERRT PHILLIPSE CONYN, then, PHILLIP (CONYN) KONYN. (Born 1600) in Ghent, District of East Flanders. I also have some of the descendents of JACOB CONINE, which was given me by a CONINE in the USA.
