Connie,

Catherines parents were:

Aaron Caplinger and Eliza Copen.Aaron was born abt. 1813 in Virginia(Wood Co.).Parents of Eliza was Zacheus Copen and Latisha Lewis.They were married 12 Oct. 1814 in Wood Co.,Va.Siblings of Catherine were:Lucy,Melissa,Artemesia,William S. and Laticia.

I have found them on Ancestry.com in the following census: 1840,1850-in wood co. va.-then 1860-wwod co.wv.-then 1870 in Ohio-Olive,Meigs Co.
At this time I do not know Aarons families name and would like to have that info.Hope this helps you out.Sandy Miller
