Tom O. I believe the first Franklin was son of William Congrove III, I have a marriage record of William Congrove married a Polly Wright in Salt Creek TWN. Pickaway Co. Ohio. My records are as follows:

Answer to letter:

The only thing I find is a William Congreeve Married a Polly Wright
March 25,1825. I found no Congroves listed J.B. Volunteer

(Note to myself; This would probably been William Congreve or Congrove III's first marriage)
Record of the burial and age at burial of William Congreve (?III) at Burried Rushville Cemetery, Olive Township, Miegs Co., Ohio, from Book "Gateway to the West".
Born in West Virginia, As Recorded in Gateway To West V2, P90
My great grandafther Sylvester's Civil War record says his father William was born in Pennsylvania. I believe William Congrove Jr and some of his son's were invoved in river traffic and transport on the Ohio River. In those days Keel boats and rafts transported goods and people up and down the Ohio River.

This record says William is 51 years old or born 1808-1809.
