Hi I am Diane Peterson's 2nd cousin and I don't know where she got Willis for Samuel's middle name. ALthough on the death cert it said Samuel W Conger. He was born 14 Feb 1855 in CT somewhere. Again I don't know where she came up with Springfield. He Married Anna Smith and had 9 children, one of them was my grandmother. The first three children died in childhood. I don't know if this will help maybe Jane was a sister to Samuel W. We just don't know. This is the family line that has been eluding us for a long time. If you find anything contact me:
