I am trying to do family trees and such, but I am stuck. My grandfather's name is Delmer Conger. He was born around 1920. His father is John Samuel Conger, but I think Delmer was adopted. I cannot find him in census records under John. So, I don't know his birth name. I just cannot find Delmer anywhere! I think John S. was in the Phillipines for the military when Delmer was born. Delmer lived in California when I knew him. He married and had one child, my dad. My dad doesn't know anything about his father's past. Stuck! Any ideas? I would appreciate anything!
