John Congdon b. 16 oct 1777, Vermont, d; 9 amr 1859 Freedom Cattaraugus NY. He married Tabitha Place b. abt 1778, Claredon, Rutland, VT, d 23 jan 1855, Freedom Cattaraugus NY. they had three children that I can find.
Fanny Congdon 1778-1873
Elizabeth Congdon 1802-1877
John Congdon 1814-1887.

Elizabeth married William Peter Angle b. 11 apr 1796 NY, d. 1878 Angelo, Monroe, WI

Tabitha's parents are Nathan Place b. 11 Apr 1745 d. 22 mar 1833. Barbara Eddy b. 22 jul 1746 d. 20 jan 1828.

Here is where I am stuck. Barbara Eddy her sister Thankful Eddy b. 1758-1773 Glocester, Providence RI, I believe she was born in 1758. married John Congdon b. 23 jan 1758 Kingstown, Washington RI, d. 1843 Hartford, Washington, NY. They was married 4 jan 1789, Clarendon, Rutland VT. They had one child that I can find his name is Thomas Congdon b 11 Nov 1792 Hartford, Washington, NY d. 9 kAug 1874 Marion, Wayne, NY.

There is other information indicating that Thankful was married to the John Congdon that Tabitha Place was married to, I believe there birth dates is what is confusing to everyone. I could not find where the two John Congdon's was related, although very possible. John Congdon b. 1777 his father is Joseph Congdon mother is Ella Hatfield. Here is also another confusing factor, Ella was supposedly born in 1766 in New York, impossible, she would have had John at age 11.. Does anyone have these Congdon's in there family. I could really use some help figuring this out. Is the John Congdon b 1777 married to Tabitha actually the son to John Congdon b. 1758 married to Thankful Eddy.

Thank You
