Rose,i gets more complicated as i go along,,,,,,but from what you just sent and putting the little i have [until more and more documated arrives from my cousin cone exley]i can tell you that the first mallette that i have is gideon ,from france, m.mary lombard 1703then my records go next to daniel mallete either from france or canada, there is a question mark there.but your mallette marrying the cone in ludowici, ga. must be the other cone line that the mr. william cone states is a different daniel cone than my records show.......but by that time cones could have easily been in ludicwici as it is not that far by that time.my daughter, irginia and grandson, jay are here today to help me with some gliches in my computer and finally get my printer working properly.....after they leave i am going to call a cousin, mallette exley in savannah and see what if anything mallie can add.....as soon as i get something that seems correct i will post you....thank you for the help you have been to so many of us....best regardsruth[exley mccormick]rose, i almost forgot to tell you there is a purysburg preservation foundation[at the purysburg location is a very large stone carved with a cross on erected by the huguenot society of south carolina in 1941.]for further info. write Purysburg Preservation Fondation,Inc. p.o.box 173, hardeevile s.c. 29927.....purysburgh was founded on the banks of the savannah river in 1732, a year beforegen. oglethrope laid out the city of savannah , georgia......the very first settlement and by english corp......i think you will find that to be very interesting.........best regardsruth
