There are alot of researchers in the Condron family who have been interested in Jacob Condron's line.
I have found some info on the Condron family that might be of interest and may answer some of our questions. It's only a start but it may be useful info for some of us anyway.
Hopefully this will encourage others to help us all put the line together by sharing what they can on the family.
I've have found the spelling to show up as Condron, Condren, Condran and Condrin so far. I'll post queries with everything I've found so please keeping checking the board until I get everything posted.
As I said, it won't answer all our questions but I'm sure it may be useful if your interested in Jacob Condron's family.
The following can be found on the History of Indiana Co, Pa 1880 by Caldwell:
GEORGE CONDRON was born near Hillidaysburg, (NOTE: should say Hollidaysburg)Blair county, in 1825, and was the son of Jacob and Elizabeth Condron nee Lockhard. The former was of English, and the latter of Irish descent. JACOB came to what is now West Mahoning township in 1842, where he died in 1870, eighty-two years old. The children were: William, m. to Susan Stewart; Eliza, m. to Isaac England; Sarah, m. to C. Lowe; James, m. to Ellen Jones; Jacob, m. to Isabella Snack; John, d., m. to Harriet Smith; Mary A., d., m. to C. Lowe; Jane, m. Thomas Weston; Griffith, m. first to Elizabeth Edwards, d., and second to Hannah Kerr; George, m. to Dorcas Van Horn, d., in 1876, forty-eight years old; David, m. first to Laura Ann Davis, d., and second to Caroline Wells; Stephen, m. to Elizabeth Barrett, d.; and Marion, m. to Margaret Kerr. George Condron's children are: Laura Jane, m. to Taylor Robinson; James M., m. to Agnes Galbraith; Wm. M.; Jacob L.; Cornelius E.; Marian U.; Charles G.; George A.; Olla F.; and Agnes B. Marion Condron's children are: Mary Frances, Jacob Covode, William Wevster (NOTE: ? To possible misspelling of Webster?), Samuel Ward, Sarah E., Lucy May, Charles Lawrence, Hannah Bell, and Elverda.
