Libby,
Do you have page numbers, etc. on the references 1830-1840 to Martin? I'd like to check those in the originals at the National Archives. Martin Condry is listed among the heirs of William the Indian Spy in the suit brought by his executor. I know a little about Martin from his service records in the War of 1812, including the following physical description:

Captain James Cuming's Company of Volunteer Mounted Gun Men
East Tennessee Militia War of 1812
Tennessee State Archives Microfilm War of 1812,
Books 1 - 5 Book 3, Number 25-D-2-2

Condrey, Martin Trp.1857FairFairBlueCl(Claiborne)
What interests me is that I have census records of a Martin CONDER in Casey Co., KY for 1830 and 1840, who I thought might be this person, since the estate records of old William mention Martin as being "not in this state" [TN] in 1850.
But if you have a Martin in Hamilton Co. 1830-1840, and near another Condry, that seems more likely to be the Martin of the estate records.
