Connie, I am Breedeen's (CONDRA in Drogheda) distant cousin in the USA that left a previous post. My grandparents were James (Jim) BYRNE and Margaret (CONDRA) BYRNE. They immigrated from Drogheda in the early 1900's and settled in the Detroit area. They had 16 children and lived in Inkster, Chelsea, and Dearborn Heights, Michigan.

The only CONDRA's that my mother ever remembers in the states were "Uncle Tom" and "Aunt Bridgette". She always thought they were related, but in finding our roots in Drogheda, we have yet to figure out exactly where the connection is.

Did Tom and Bridgette have a daughter "Margaret CONDRA" that also lived in the Detroit area? My mother's so-called cousin, Margaret CONDRA, was her maid of honor at her wedding in 1948 at St. Mary's Church in Wayne. I searched for Margaret back in 1998 and was unable to locate her. She used to keep in touch with my Aunt Mary BRYNGLESON and cousin John BRYNGLESON.

Ask around if any of this rings a bell and I will ask for further details from my mother.
