Dear Mary Anne,

Just reading your message of the 28/10/00. I'm Gary Matthews of Drogheda Co. Louth, Ireland. This is the same place as "Drogetta" in yor message. It's not a suburb of Dublin, but about 30 miles north of it, on the coast. My maternal grandmother was Mary Frances Condra, born in Drogheda in 1902 and died in 1993. There have been Condras in Drogheda and the area around it for some hundreds of years and I suppose that your gggrandfather Patrick was a relative of mine. If this is so then you have a relation in Margaret Condra, @1896, of Drogheda, who left Drogheda in @1912 for America, She married James Burn, also of Drogheda, in America, and they had 15 children, 11 of whom were still alive in Oct, 1961. One was called Mary Frances. They had 30 grand children. The parents went to Detroit, Michigan, and then to Gregory, Michigan. And then I don't know any more!
