Condon Bros. in Northern Co. Cork
Picture this...the heather-encrusted Irish Headlands, veiled in a fog as thick as smoke in a crowded Dublin pub, hunched precariously over the moors, their rocky elbows slipping off land's end, their bulbous, craggy noses thrust into the thick foam of the North Sea liked bearded old Condon's falling asleep in their pints...I'll have another round my good man, had a great time traveling througth the Irish countryside, such a priceless experience, found old castles built by the Condon's in the 14th century, met locals who were rich with history, tromped through every graveyard in a ten square mile area and probably found over 60 headstones with the family name. Although we still haven't found a direct link back, we're getting close (we're stuck in the 1820's). Took lots of pictures, and looking forward to exchange travel tales with you. I'll write more later...jc
