The info i have on the Condon family is that before they came to Mich. in 1845 they were in jefferson county new york brownville and pamilia twonships near the city of watertown. james and his wife mary are in jefferson county at least by 1810 before that i think maybe maryland but not sure on the 1850 genesee county michigan census she is still alive at 74 and claims to have been born in canada also they spelled their last name conden at times. do you think that this could be the same james that you are talking about
