I am trying to find information on my gggrandmother Catherine Condon and her family back in Ireland. I do not know where exactly in Ireland she was born or anything much of her life there and would appreciate any help I might be given. She was born between 1810 and 1820 in Ireland. She married a George O'Kane and had 4 children Bridget, Johannah, Ann, and George. They left for North America sometime in the late 1840's or early in 1850. It is said she was intending to go on to the US but didn't make it as George and the children all died enroute and she disembarked in Canada. She met Patrick McDonough, a native of Galway. They married and had 4 children of their own, William Peter, James, Jane, and Catherine. These children were all born either near Toronto or Niagra Falls before the family moved to the Ottawa Valley in the late 1850's. I would appreciate any help I might be given. Do any of these names sound familiar. Thanks very much.
