I am researching the marriage of John Condon & Bridget Dundon, who married in Fedamore Parish in 1814, I think, because their first child, Mary, was born in 1815. My gggrandfather is a William Condon, and I believe that he is the son of John & Bridget, b. 1817. In the official records at The Granary in Co. Limerick, 5 children of John and Bridget are listed: Mary and William were baptized in Fedamore parish, and three others, including Maurice, were baptized in Manister Parish (which was once part of Fedamore Parish). I was personally at the parish and looked at those records. According to The Granary, it is highly likely that John & Bridget had other children, whose baptisms are not registered, because there is a 12 year lapse, after the birth of William and before Maurice was baptized. I think William could be my great-grandfather. If he is, he was married to Mary Cahill in 1842 in Kilbehenny Parish in Co. Limerick, and my grandmother Margaret was his last child, born 1853. My father was born in 1897, when Margaret was 44 years old. In the Tithe Applotment Books of 1826, there were 4 land/lease holders in Fedamore Parish, which included the townland of Fanningstown. These included a William, John, Patrick, and a widow Condon. I think John is the one who was married to Bridget Dundon. There was no William holding/leasing land in the Griffith's Valuation Survey in 1851 in Fedamore Parish. If you are indeed Maurice's descendant, and I am William's gggdaughter, then we are distant relatives. I have done lots of research on the Fedamore/Fanningstown/Crecora branch of the Condons (it's all the same place, just small townlands) and I'd be happy to share.
