Still looking for proof of the parents of Almira Tompkins that married John Fox. she was born about 1809 in Essex co NJ and died abt 1857 possibly in Lancaster PA she was the daughter of Enos Tompkins and Sarah Condit. She died before most of her siblings so i havent been able to find her in anyones obit. Could not find a will or probate for her father.
I found her data in the Condit association book on the Condits, the Tompkins/thompkins book had been recommended but it does not list her as a child, the condit book has 9 children and the Tompkins book only has 8. I would love to know what the source of the data for the Condit book was. The DAR is still questioning her parents, i have checked at both Essex co NJ and Lancaster PA sites for mention on them so far all dead ends. Thanks in advance BARB
