Hi - I'm curious if our family name of Condia was transposed from Condie. I have some family bible records that spell the last name as "Condiea." I am not able to trace the Condia family past my great-great-grandfather as he was an orphan and I am unsure of the surname spelling. What I know about him is he was born in Pennsylvania in 1828. He was an engineer. I would appreciate any insight someone might have. Thanks.
