I am a direct decendant of the Condies that left Scotland for Utah in the mid 1800s. My great grandfather Gibson Condie (1835-1913)kept a journal of his life and it is available on microfilm and should be available to rent from any local LDS Family History Center. He married Elizabeth Robinson from Darlington, Durham, England. She crossed the plains to Utah with her mother and sister in the E. Martin Handcart Company. I am now concentrating my genealogy work on her line and I am in the process of updating all available LDS data on her family and ancestors.
