Condie, Clackmannanshire to Upper Canada

My great-grandfather James CONDIE (son of Malcom Condie and Helen Margaret MALCOM of Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, Scotland); along with 3 brothers (Hugh married Jean ROBERTSON, Alexander married Barbara GREIG, and Malcolm married Isabella McDONALD) and at least 1 sister (Margaret married Hugh CUNNINGHAM) came to Upper Canada during the 1800's. Oh! James married 1. Isabella DRYSDALE and 2. Ann BROWN (my great-grandmother).

They were a prolific family and there are members of the various branches scatttered all over.

I am trying to establish my web site into a centre to bring together the various existing Condie branches; and to trace, as far as possible the original families in Scotland during the 1700's. I would love to hear from you!

You are welcome to visit (and perhaps contribute to) my 'Condie Canadian Cousins' web site at (http://www.cyberbeach.net/~mkelly).
