Terry, This is Warner Conder,(2330 SE Brookwood, #114, Hillsboro, Oregon, 97123 (503)681-8331 (E-MAIL: [email protected])
Amanda Conder was the sister just older than my paternal great-grandfather, Joseph Conder (1829-1902). It appears that that was born about 1827 and married an Elijah Conder. I don't know when she died but is apparently buried in the Linthicum cemetery, Monroe County, Indiana. My cousin Donald Conder (1930-1999) who was a retired mail carrier in Bloomington used to talk to a Linthicum family member. He still has an older brother, Robert who lives in Bloomington if he hasn't recently passed away (Smithville route?)My Amanda may have died young but someone lived until 1907.Let me know or email if you need more specific information. My greatgrandfather Joseph, moved to Dongola, Union County, Illinois (1878), from Bloomfield or Koleen Ind, then inn 1890 to Zalma, Gypsy Route, BOllinger County, Missouri where he died in March, 1902 (buried in the Berrong Cemetery by my grandfather, David William Conder (1853-1925). His first wife was Mary Ann Hazel ("Polly"), daughter of Caleb Hazel, Jr., son of Abraham Lincoln's second teacher.
