Sorry it has taken so long to respond. Been very busy at work.
Yes I am Lora's great grandson. I didn't get to know her at all. She died when I was still a baby. My mom does have a picture of her holding me as a baby though, and when I was little we used to visit her grave site every year. Her and Temp are buried in Owensboro in Elmwood cemetery. I still go visit whenever I am home.
It would be easier to stay in contact if you emailed me at my regular email address, MConder@t-online.de. I can check email at work during lunch, but the system often does not allow outside links to be followed in email messages.
I would be interested in the photo of great great grandma. I have been researching and have never been able to get past Joseph and Polly. Plus, I am trying to track down the source of a family legend or belief or whatever you would call it. Supposedly Polly was a full blooded Indian. The one picture that mom had that she thought was maybe Polly is of a woman that appears to be Indian, and mom was always told that she was. Just trying to find out.
