I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 12,000,000 surviving rcds for abt 65% of Irish counties. Rcds are increasingly sparse B4 1840, rare B4 1800. Note - only abt 1/2 of Co. Cork's rcds are in this database. For Bridget Connors B 1893 (exact) with a father named Michael in all Ireland, I found 4 B rcds: 2-Galway, 1-Mayo, 1-Limerick. B/M/D registration was civil after 1863. Civil rcds are at the General Register Office. It has rcds for the Republic or Ireland. Query this office at http://www.groireland.ie. Since you know the names of Bridget's parents and two siblings, your search here will likely be successful. Google the Foundation's name to lead you to this database. Pls post your results to my genforum msg. Hope this helps. Good luck. Notify Administrator about this message?
