Hi Cathy remember me, tracing my Ggfather ANDREW CAHILL marrying CATHERINE CONCANNON.I was in Galway for 10 days last year and went to the AHASCRAGH PARISH CHURCH spoke to the priest there and he had 2 record books but unfortunately the 2 books I wanted were burnt. Apparently the priest(some years before) had left them on the table in front of the fire and 2 coals fell on to them and burnt them. He gave me a lot of address of CAHILLS CONANNONS living arojnd there but no one seemed to know anything about my ancestors.
It was very disappointing but that is how it is, I have some names if you are interested living around that area and will gladly give them to you .
I wont try any more just make up the tree with the information I have,
