Have just started looking.....my great grandmother had a little booklet she wrote before she died. She was born Margaret Concannon in 1878 and came over to the U.S. around 1896. Her sisters, Annie (Honoria), Kate and Beatrice came a few years after. They all settled in Braddock, PA. Annie and Bea married Burkhardt brothers, Kate married a Ford and Margaret married Jos. Murphy (children - Jos., Marie and Alice). Margaret and Annie came to Allentown, PA. After Jos. Murphy died, Margaret married Jim McIlhaney (around 1935). He died around 1940 and she died in 1971.
Margaret was the daughter of Thomas Concannon and Mary Julia (Ryan) Concannon.
Mary's parents were James Ryan and Margaret (Daley) Ryan. Margaret's parents were John Daley and Mary (Riley) Daley. I am curious to know if I have any relatives either in Braddock or Ireland.
