In the 1820 census for Elksburg, Lewis Co., KY there are several Conaways, including Michael, Miles, Samuel, Jeremiah and Richard. There was both Richard Sr. and Jr. previously. Richard Sr. was father of several of these boys. Most of the family moved to Blue River area of Henry Co., IN by about 1822 or so, apparently having "laid over" in Wayne Co. next door, until lands opened up for sale in Henry Co.
