I am looking for information for Richard Conaway. He was on the 1830, 1840, 1850 Monroe Co., MS Census. My Great Grandfather James W. "Jim" Conaway was probably a descendent of this Richard Conaway. There was a James Conaway who moved from Monroe Co., MS around 1843-1848 to Palestine, Anderson Co.,TX. I believe Richard Conaway probably followed James to Texas after 1850. My Great Grandfather James W. "Jim" Conaway was born in Texas 15 Mar 1851. I am looking for information on his ancestors. So far I have found no connection, only similarities. If you are a descendent of Richard Conaway or can help me, please contact me at rushhigginbotham@bellsouth.net. Thank you in advance for any information we may be able to share. I have a considerable amount of information on James W. "Jim" Conaway's descendents. Rush Higginbotham
