i was born linda ann conaway. on wed.23,1949. in wilm. general hospital at 12:39pm. my mother was anna hilda conaway, born in pa. year 1932. i am an adoptee. i was kept a secert for 53 years. i did not know i was adopted until 2001 when i was 51. everyone knew. my so called cousins, aunts and uncles, the neighbors and friends. i was the only one kept in the dark. when i was six my mother burnt the adoption papers, hoping i would never find out. the adoption was private. it was setup by my adopted mother anne marie mccormick and her older sister edna mccormick, edna knew the birth mother. my birth mother was 17 at the time i was born, she stay in st beulah apostolic faith church, while she waited for me. when i was born i was taken from the hospital and put on a train to new york city. i have a right to know. my birth mother was anna hilda conaway, my birth father was itailan. if you know this woman, who would be 73 about know please help me. i have nerve damage and spinal illness. i much find any family member who may know what i have. thank you for listoning.
