i am an adoptee. my birth name was linda ann conaway. i was born in wilm. general hospital new castle county delaware the time was 12:39 pm the month, day and year was 11/23/1949. i am italian from my birth father and irish from my birth mother. the dr was floyd i hudson, the attendtant at birth was j.a. giles, jr registrar's was charles b.bishop. my birth number is 107-49-006851. the adoption was setup by my adopted mother anne marie mccormick
and her older sister edna mccormick, she knew the birth family. is there any conaway out there who is brave enother to come out of the closest, and help me out. i have nerve damage and i need some history of the birth family either from the conaways or the forgotten italian side, so that i can be helped by the doctors. my birth mother was 17 when she had me. she was born in pa. year 1932. she lived in 1949 at 521 spruce street new castle delaware. her name was anna hilda conaway. my adoption was verified on feb/21/1950 i weight 7 lbs 3 ozs. the date rec'd by local reg. was 12/16/1949. my adopted father told me i was adoped on 06/27/2001. i was 51. it changed my whole life but mostly because my birth parents were not married. it hurts me a great deal. my adopted father never had children of his own he adopted me because my adopted mother wanted him too. i never lived in delaware, i lived in new york city all my childhood. his names was william woodrow henry. i am now linda ann henry.
