Looking for information on John Spaun (or Spawn) CONAWAY, born 16 Oct 1762, died 25 Dec 1842 Marion County, VA (now WV). His parents were Thomas CONAWAY and Dorothy FLEMING. He married Rachel WILLISON and their son was Jeremiah CONAWAY. He married Susan HUNTER, and their son was Byrum (or Byron) C. CONAWAY. John may have fought in the Revolution. Byrum fled apprenticeship to a cooper and came to Ohio. Any information on any of these folks would be greatly appreciated.
