My own Conaway line goes as follows:

Robert Craig Harman (1969-present; b. Wilm,NCC,DE)
Hubert Frederick Harman, Jr. (1939-present; Wilm,NCC,DE)
Ruth Elizabeth Conaway (1919-1995; SSG,NCC,DE)
William Carnagy Conaway (1899-1969; SSG,NCC,DE)
Samuel P. Conaway (Jun 1853-??; of SGH,NCC,DE)

Wilm = Wilmington
NCC = New Castle County
SSG = South Saint Georges
SGH = Saint Georges Hundred

and stops there.

The earliest record I have of Samuel P. Conaway on the 1870 census (at
SGH,NCC,DE) is working at age 16 as an indentured farmhand to William
B. Diehl. There's a Mary J. Conaway on the same census at the same
location, age 12, who's also indentured, as well as a Wm. C. Conaway,
52; wife Annie, 36; children: Joseph, 8; Sallie, 4; William, 2; Ellen,
1 month. I don't have a definitive tie between the Samuel P. and the
elder Wm. C. as yet. The names of all these Conaways are spelled
Conway on the census, but this varies from record to record.

I've been trying to find a tie back and wonder if your Reverend
Samuel Conaway might not be a grandfather or great-grandfather of
mine. If you could send me descendancy information that would be
great....
