I have information on Michael.

born around 1737 near baltimore Md, he was the son of "Scotch-Irish" conaway. I don't have Scotch-Irish's first name yet..still trying to piece that one together.

Married to Elizabeth Davis, they had the following children:

Conaway, Michael-C
Conaway, John
Conaway, Charles
Gender: Male
Conaway, Catharine
Conaway, Susan
Conaway, Elizabeth

His siblings (other children that I know of belonging to "scotch-Irish Conaway" include:

Conaway, Charles
Conaway, Michael
Conaway, Samuel
Gender: Male

I have a lot of information on the conaways. You can find my root page at http://www.math.psu.edu/dibert/

Scotch-Irish came from Antrim Ireland. However, I am having a difficult time locating his name. I'm wanting to check for emigration records as I believe they took the Oath of Alligiance in Philadelpia, PA.

You may email me at dibert@math.psu.edu

There are many of us researching the same line.

Lisa
