Andrew Conatser, b. c.1810, probably in Wayne Co., KY was brought to that part of Overton Co. which became Fentress Co., TN with his father John Palser and siblings. He was apparently living with his brother Philip in the 1820 and 1830 census of Fentress Co. He is first listed in the Fentress Co. 1833 tax list. Andrew married Mary Huckabee c.1832. Andrew died before 7 Sep 1894. On that date his surviving children sold their interest in his lands to youngest son Titus P. Conatser. Deeds were made by Thomas Conatser of Fentress Co., Abigail and A. B. Walker of Fentress Co., James K. and Martha Conatser of Pickett Co., and William and Winny Conatser of Overton Co. Also a joint deed was made by Cook, Solomon, and Scott Conatser as heirs of Andrew. I think they may have been grandsons but haven't been able to find their father (help would be appreciated).
Children of Andrew and Mary that I have identified are: Thomas, m. Mary Ann; Joseph, m. Zerelda Clemintine J. Evans; William, m. Winny; John E., m. Winnie; Elizabeth Jane; James K. Polk, m. Marcha E. Westmoreland; George M. Dallas, b. May 1849, unmarried; Delilah, m. Archiblad B. Walker; Tennessee E., m. James A. Fite; Ferba; Titus P., b. 2 Aug 1861, d. 5 May 1933, m. (1) Sibora Ann Robbins (2) Sciota Robbins Smith. Sorry I don't know more about William. Anything you can add will be appreciated.
