I corresponded with Lloyd and we were still communicating at the time of his death. We also talked on the phone. Pauline informed me of his passing. I have a lot of info., but Lloyd's CONARDs were of the
Haywood Co, NC group. None, 'cept Lloyd, that I new of, pronounced the name <ka-NARD> like Lloyd, and we thought it was due to his father
who was living in Louisiana. CONARD generally rhymes with HONORED.
Lloyd's dad was Thurman Rufus Conard. I also visited with his aunt, Golden Pennington Conard in Coupeville, WA in the 60s...
