I have a photograph of a Conant crest which is carved on the aisle end of the Conant pew at All Saints Church in East Budleigh,Devonshire, England. I have visited there.
There might be other Conant crests, so I would like to see yours,in case it differs from mine.
I, too descend from a Lot Conant, but maybe not the same as yours, as there were several. Here is my line of just those who resided in America.
Roger Conant (1592-1678)and wife Sarah Horton.
Lot Conant (1624-1664) and wife Abigail _____.
Lot Conant (1657/8-1743/44)and 2nd wife Elizabeth Pride
William Conant (1719-1784) and wife Elizabeth Potter
William Conant (1747-1826) and wife Mary Perkins
Joseph Conant (1790-1870) and wife Anna Foster
Daniel Webster Conant (1831-1922) & Matilda Hale
Elmer Ellsworth Conant Sr. (1861-1933)
I also have the line which stayed in England. I have two books with genealogy information about Roger and family and would be glad to do a look up if you need it. Most of what I have is prior to 1887.
