According to Lot's will, which he signed on the "24th of the 7 month 1674," he may not have known his own exact birth date. The will reads "I Lot Conant aged about fiftie years. . ." The will was witnessed by Roger Conant and Exercise Conant, but neither one apparently felt he could correct Lot's estimate to a more exact age.

Elizabeth Walton was baptized, not born, on October 27, 1629. Her father, Rev. William Walton, had the parish at Seaton, Devonshire, where she was baptized.

I know everyone says his and Elizabeth's marriage took place about 1649, but I have no idea where that information comes from. It's not from F. O. Conant's book.
