This is the reason I hate Seniors and Juniors. Lot Conant and Elizabeth WALTON had 10 children:
Nathaniel, b. July 28, 1650
John, b. December 15, 1652
Lot, b. February 16, 1657/58
Elizabeth, b. May 18, 1660
Mary, b. July 14, 1662
Martha, b. August 15, 1664
Sarah, b. February 10, 1666/67
William, b. February 10, 1666/67
Roger, b. March 10, 1668/69
Rebecca, b. January 31, 1670/71

Sarah and William were twins.

Lot Conant, Jr. and Abigail ________ (his first wife) had five children: Samuel who died young, Abigail, Jonathan, Sarah and Roger.

Lot Conant, Jr. and Elizabeth PRIDE (his second wife) had ten children: Joseph, Ruth, Joshua (died young), Elizabeth (died young), Joshua, Joanna, Bartholomew, SAMUEL and William.

Obviously, someone got confused and mixed up the two Lot and Elizabeth families. this is why you have to be Very Careful where you get your information. The LDS Library, while good for getting leads, cannot be taken as gospel because they do not confirm the information NOR do they correct mistakes. Cheryl got it right by noting that Samuel was actually Lot Conant and Elilzabeth Walton's GRANDson.

My line goes back like this: George J., John M., George W., Barna, Charles B., Jeremiah, Roger, Jeremiah, Nathaniel, Nathaniel, Lot, Roger the Pilgrim, Richard, John, John.
