I am looking for information on Lavinia Comstock who married Loyalist Thomas Smyth and settled in Ontario after the Revolutionary War. His nephew William Merrick was married to Sylvia Comstock. I am guessing that these two women were related and that they were descendants of William Comstock of Lyme Connecticut. Does anyone know anything about these ladies?
