Thanks for responding, Yes I have information from J.A.Comstock book and have found several errors, but it is a starting point.
I'm trying to get aline on the oldest son,Charles, and his family. Charles was married four times during his life time.
One to Viture Cooper PER J.A. and the third & fouth in Il. I have copy of the fourth.
Charles per J.A. died in Louden,Cedar County Iowa, but His obituary in Whiteside County Il. says he died at his sons home in Comanche,Clinton County Iowa or about 30 Miles south of Clinton,Iowa. Louden is about 40-50 Miles due west of Clinton,Iowa.
There are no records of William's death in Lockport but many thanks.
