COMSTOCK, NY, 1800?

Can anyone help me with Eunice COMSTOCK who married Enoch SMITH. *The History and Genealogy of The Comstock Family in America* gives Eunice' brother as Truman Comstock who died at Windsor, Broome County NY. My question is this: did Enoch and Eunice have a son named Truman Comstock
Smith?

My ancestor by that name (Truman Comstock Smith) was born 1807 in Broome County NY. Was he named after his mother's brother Truman Comstock?

Interestingly, the Comstock book calls (Enoch) Smith *of Cincinnati.* Or is it Cincinnatus, in Cortlandt County NY? To be
Cincinnati OHIO would seem almost incredible, but who knows. (Incredible in that
it would have been so far out west for those days.) At any rate, my theory is that Eunice Comstock and Enoch Smith were the parents of Truman Comstock Smith, named after Eunice' brother.

Whether Enoch and Eunice were his parents I am not absolutely certain.
However, what I definitely know is that Truman Comstock SMITH was born 29
Jan 1807 in Broome County, New York He was married in Broome County ( Jul 1831) to Hannah Henrietta CONRAD (born: 7 Jul 1814 in New York).
