Gardner W. Comstock is the son of Gardner Comstock and unknown wife. Gardner Sr. b. Williamstown, MA, July 30, 1789, dod unknown. "He may have gone to Otsego, NY and then to Oneida Co. - then to Grenadier Island, St. Lawrence River, near Escott, Ont., Canada." His ancestors were Ishmael, William, Thomas, Samuel, Samuel, William.
