Yes, Rodney, I'm sure this is the same family in both the Adams book and in Rev. Hebert's book. I got somewhat interested in William & Rachel because the family was briefly in Kentucky. Glad you posted this information - I'll look for the book!
I also descend from a William Comstock in Kentucky - but William Comstock who married Winnie Ann Hardin was my ancestor.
