Christopher is carried by Comstocks in America, 1949, by John A. Comstock as a son of William-1 Comstock.

For more on William-1 Comstock, see:

However, in TAG 29:81-85, 1953 (note this article dated after the Comstock Genealogy was published), the author presents some "raw" data concerning Comstock records found in England (none that directly tie to the New Englanders). In the conclusion of this article, by John Insley Coddington, it says: "It may be, indeed, that a fortunate researcher will be able to solve the vexed questions of whether Christopher Comstock of Fairfield and Norwalk was or was not a son of William-1 Comstock."

In another place in the article, the author says "... Christopher Comstock of Fairfield and Norwalk, Conn, an unproved son of William-1."
