Gardner W Comstock is Individual number 3120 in John A Comstock's _A History and Genealogy of the Comstock Family in America_, published 1949.

Gardner W is on page 230, born Canada, Dec 17, 1838. Died Sioux City Iowa, March 1911. Married Emeline Humes in Stevens Point Wisconsin 1865. They had five children:
William Angus, b Portage, WI, Jan 15, 1866.
George Aaron, b Prairie-du-Chien, WI, Jul 11, 1868.
Jennie Gertrude, b Jan 11, 1871.
Nettie May, b Mar 3, 1876.
Edith Lucinda, b Jan 16, 1881.

Other facts about all members of this family, including descendants named Comstock, are available in the book.
