Here are two (and perhaps a 3rd) that might be helpful if you haven't already seen them: "A Hist and Gen of the Comstock F in Amer," 1949, by John A. Comstock; "A Comstock Gen.: Descs. of Wm Comstock of New London, CT who died after 1662," 1907, ed. by Cyrus B. Comstock (10 Generations); "Some Descs of Samuel Comstock of Providence, RI who died about 1660," 1905, ed. by Cyrus B. Comstock. My line is via Wm Comstock and Eliz. Daniel, Daniel Comstock and Palthiah Elderkin, Elizabeth Comstock and Peter Strickland, four more generations of Stricklands, two generations of Halls, three of Searls, one Gilbert, and one O'Leary. That makes me generation 14 if Wm Comstock is generation 1. Best of luck with your research, Michael
