I have Porter Frederick's parents as William E Soule, born 31 Jan 1834 in Albion, Oswego County, NY, died 7 Aug 1924 in Sandy Creek, NY. Married to Florilla Comstock, Flora, daughter of Hiram Comstock and Almira Chase. William and Florilla appear together in: U.S. Census > 1870 United States Federal Census > New York > Oswego > Richland Pg 81 of 101, and, U.S. Census > 1860 United States Federal Census > New York > Oswego > Richland Page 37 of 104. Other children as Chloa 1861-1862, John T 1865 - ?, Frank H 1866 - aft 1920, and Clarence W 1870 - ?. Pretty sure this is the same family.
